'Holy Dooley I'm In a Book' Giveaway!

A while back, I made some
cushions for a book project and yesterday in the mail came the book! (Reason #128 I love my mailman)

Compiled by Kathreen from
Whipup, Kids Crafternoon: Sewing is full of simple sewing projects for kids from crafters around the world; and there is my pocket cushion project, on page 94! Sewing is the first of four great titles in Kathreen's Kids' Crafternoon series. Papercraft, Felting and Beading are due for release in November 2011. Yay!

I have a copy of Kids Crafternoon: Sewing to give away (thanks to the lovely folk at Hardie Grant).

To enter, leave a comment on this blog post by 10pm Tuesday 12th July.

Yay Again!

You're famous! Couldn't have happened to a more deserving crafter :-) Totally eyeing up your new girl dolls too, they are super cute! If they're still around once I've had bub no. 2 (not for another 6-7 months), and it's a girl, I'll just have to buy one won't I?!

Dear Pepper,
I don't know what happened to my comment made in the middle of the day today but when I returned to your blog tonight it's not there! So I will try again.
Firstly, congratulations on getting published. If you are travelling on a big high at the moment, you deserve it and milk it for all it's worth. Especially make the family hear your shouts of glee and joy for some time to come. I love the idea that blogs offer competitions etc, it seems to make people more interactive. As a newbie blogger I find I make mistakes all the time, so whatever I did that my comment didn't make it to you this afternoon, well I'm stumped. Does it mean that other comments I've left on other blogs have been lost in space? I will have to be more careful in future. I hope the competition works out well for you, but more importantly I hope you get published again. Maybe one day I will get to enjoy that wonderful experience, but it's a way off yet. I feel uncomfortable actually, commenting this time because for me it's not about getting a reward for blogging and I hope that you receive the comments you deserve and a dedicated follower is the lucky recipient of this book which you feature so proudly in.
