my creative space- dolls

I've been making some more dolls from calico and vintage fabrics. They are fun to make and to hold, but I'm just.not.sure. about those faces. Do they look too surprised? Just innocent? Do they need a nose?

What do you think?

*update* thanks for your lovely comments! I decided to alter the eyebrows a wee bit, and am much happier. I have named them Agnes, Abigail, Anne and Ada, and they are in my etsy, madeit and bluecaravan stores now x

I'm a fan of no noses. My dolls rarely have noses :)

Love their short hair. You never see dolls with short hair. Whack a pair of glasses on a brown-haired one and that's what my new do looks like at the moment. I cut my hair to almost a shave. Well, not me, a hairdresser did it. Bless her for not fainting when I asked how brave she was.

They are sweet..they've got that 'I've-just-woken-up' look to me! Maybe try just a hint of blush instead of the rosy red cheeks just for a softer look??

I think those DARLING dolls look absolutely fine just as they are!

The one in red seems to have a nose with the way the seam is stuffed, but if you really feel they need something, maybe a dab of blush would do the trick =-)

I will take a peek to see if these are in your shop yet =-)
