A project for The Nature Conservency made with wool from an organic flock of Panama sheep from Lava lake Ranch, Idaho, it was created by Christien Meindertsma. See more, and her other work, here.
I saw this in the Cooper Hewitt Museum in NYC! It was so so cool. I was in Industrial Design at my college at the time, and this cemented to me how much Fibers arts were my calling. Now I'm a happy Fibers major, up to my earsies in wools!
amazing! there is also a crochet equivalent with the woman's body acting as the crochet hook...it is featured on crochet along - badge is on my blog, sorry I am a ludite that hasn't worked out how to provide links!!! (so embarassing- I should be kicked out of blog land!)
