Next to this house
.

I found a switch on the ground.
.
I like to keep it in my pocket, and imagine that when I flick it on and off something goes on or off someplace in the world.
A light bulb
A compliment
A lift button
An idea
A blink
A wink
A traffic light
A butterfly's wings
A glance
A tv screen
it makes me smile and wonder.

I like the way you think :)
This is a lovely post.
In my office there is a solitary switch on a wall in a corridor. A Post It note above it says "Please do not flick this switch". I imagine that it powers a life support machine, many miles away.
the pub I work in has a switch on one of the walls that's like that, and every time i'm board I press it and imagine it dose something somewhere!
Oh, I LOVE things like that!!! What a great post.
That house is tres cool - love it, and LOVE the flowers. So pretty. Maybe you're switching on/off someone's libido...?
You have the power!! I want a switch like that. The things I could do. (Sorry for 2 comments, just didn't finish - eep).
Can I have one that will MUTE my four children for me? Hehehe....I can dream.
that is wonderful thinking! it certainly brings a smile to think such a switch exists and i think we do have such a switch inside ourselves - i like to think it's our imagination =-)
